Hosting A Furniture Drive
We are now preparing our 2013-2014 Furniture Collection drive calendar and are asking for your assistance. There are many ways you can help: Call our office and one of our representatives will be happy to speak with you about setting up a furniture drive.
Furniture Drive
Your congregation, workplace, business, neighborhood community, or service organization can host a furniture drive. Nu Life Outreach, in collaboration with Penske Corporation, makes hosting a furniture drive as simple as 1—2—3—!
1. Pick your date!
2. Promote and advertise the drive with marketing materials such as Bulletins, Newsletters, Web Sites, Facebook, E-mail, Twitter and LinkedIn. These are all great ways to spread the word.
3. A Penske truck will arrive at your location on your designated date, complete with donation receipts, signage, and instructions for volunteers. Fill it up more than once? We will get another truck!
We have set a goal of holding at least 12 Furniture Drive fund raisers per year in order to meet the needs of battered and homeless women and their children throughout the Metro Atlanta area. Would you or your organization like to step up to help us meet this goal? We would appreciate it, because we can’t do it without you!
Household Cleaning Supplies Drive
A great way to help is to provide our mothers and their children with a starter kit of basic cleaning products. By assembling the items listed below into a much-needed gift package, this will drastically cut the expense of moving into a new home.

During an assigned week or month of your choice, you and your group will collect much-needed items for our families. Nu Life Outreach will help coordinate these efforts by picking up items from a designated pick-up location. We will assign a designated date and time for our drivers to come to your location and pickup all donations. This Drive would be perfect for churches, schools, businesses, and other organizations wanting to help.
